Chicken Egg Grades in Malaysia

When I stay in Malaysia, I find interesting fact that the chicken eggs have grades. The grades are : AA, A, B, C, and D. The grades are based on the weight, the bigger weight has a better grade. Each grade has a different price, the top grade has the highest price. It is different in Indonesia, we don't sell egg in grade except in supermarket. Usually the seller, especially in traditional market will mix the egg. They don't care about the grade as long as the total weight is okay. So if you buy 1 kg, the size of the eggs may be various. Another interesting fact is the egg price in Malaysia is relatively cheaper than Indonesia! For example a pack of grade A eggs, contains 30 pcs, in Lotus Malaysia is only 12.6 RM or each egg is 0.42 RM. But in Indonesia (Super In*o minimarket) a pack of egg contains 10 pcs is around 30000 IDR or about 8 RM, each egg cost 0.8 RM.
